Southwest Airlines

A brand re-launch of epic proportions

Southwest Airlines employees were invited to the airline’s headquarters for a brand relaunch, where they witnessed a larger-than-life video projection made by Go2 Production to introduce for the first time their new brand identity.

Techniques used: Projection Mapping, 3D Animation.
Client: Southwest Airlines

Overview

A big brand relaunch should be something memorable. Go2 specializes in creating that memorable moment that people feel compelled to share. Within the first hour of this event, SWA reported that out of their 46,000 employees, 26,000 of them had watched the streaming video online and shared it. If each person is estimated to have around 750 people reach in their own network, that means this event reached over 18 million people in the first hour alone. That’s ROI at the speed of “LIKE”.

Tech Specs:

State-of-the-art proprietary mapping software was used in conjunction with multiple 35,000 lumen projectors and concert-quality sound to create a 3D projection experience that covered over 13,000 square feet within Hangar 5. This immersive 3D/4D projection experience was witnessed by more than 4,000 people, making it the first of its kind within the interior of an airplane hangar.

Client Testimonial:

“Mine and my client’s expectations were met and exceeded – so much so that when the opportunity arose to reveal a new state-branded plane – Southwest Airlines specifically requested Go2 Productions to create that experience as well, and a second unique unveiling was realized.  Overall, we were very happy with the uniqueness and quality of Go2Productions work and how dedicated their team is at making the client’s vision a reality.”
